Many report multiple wallet addresses being generated, adding to confusion and undermining trust in the migration process.
Community Voices Demand Clarity Before Pi Day 2
Prominent Pi community leaders are now urging the Core Team to take swift action.
James Zito, a well-known figure among Pioneers, said:
“I’m not being negative, but Pioneers deserve answers.”
Zito and others want the team to fix the wallet mapping and migration issues before Pi Day 2 on June 28. Another long-time supporter, Dr. Altcoin, echoed the concerns and reminded users to stay alert for scams. He warned that impersonators posing as “helpers” often demand half your Pi, only to steal it all.
Another user vented on X:
“Give me back that damn Pi. I’ve worked hard for six years. You still haven’t mapped it.”
This wave of frustration forced the Pi Core Team to release a security advisory, reminding users to protect their seed phrases. But instead of calming the community, the warning triggered even more backlash, with some accusing the team of stalling and labeling the situation a “scam.”
