Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak are in line to make their Pittsburgh Penguins debut against their former team.
The Penguins officially added Skinner and Kulak to the active roster ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers (7:30 p.m. ET on Sportsnet, Sportsnet+).
The pair were acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Oilers on Friday for goaltender Tristan Jarry.
Skinner arrives in Pittsburgh posting an 11-8-4 record with a 2.83 goals-against-average, a .891 save percentage, and two shutouts through 23 games this season in Edmonton. The 27-year-old was a third-round draft pick in 2017, and helped the Oilers reach back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals in 2024 and 2025. Kulak, 31, has been a stapple on the Oilers blue line for years and had two assists in 31 games this season.
To make room on the roster, Pittsburgh have also reassigned goaltender Sergei Murashov to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.
