An original Fargo star from season 1 wanted to return to the hit FX series with a pitch, "but no one said anything." Based on the Coen brothers' 1996 film of the same name, the FX anthology series premiered in 2014 and has run for five seasons, following various chronicles of deception and murder that take place in and around Minnesota, but all mysteriously connect back to Fargo, North Dakota. Over the years, Fargo's cast has included big stars like Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Ewan McGregor, Chris Rock, Jon Hamm, and many more.
