Halloween is still over half a year away, but there's never a bad time to enjoy some horror. Case in point, 2026 has already seen a few exciting releases built to scare, ranging from the blockbuster Scream 7 to Nia DaCosta's 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Sam Raimi's long-awaited return to the genre, Send Help, and Markiplier's surprise indie hit directorial debut, Iron Lung. April will look to add to the bunch with Lee Cronin's haunting new take on The Mummy coming on April 17, followed by Damian McCarthy's latest horror, Hokum, premiering on May 1. From Robert Eggers to Zach Cregger and James Watkins, plenty of big-name directors are still set to deliver their next big features throughout the rest of the year, too.
