One of Prime Video’s Best Superhero Shows Is Now Free to Stream Ahead of Season 2 – But There’s a Catch

Prime Video’s hit superhero spin-off Gen V is returning with its long-awaited second installment on September 17, but fans don’t have to wait to dive back into the action. In a surprise move, the Gen V Season 1, set in the chaotic universe of The Boys, is now free to stream. The catch, however, is that viewers are going to need the right hardware and subscription to access it. Beginning August 21, Gen V Season 1 is available through Sony Pictures Core, a streaming app exclusively found on Sony devices like Bravia TVs and PlayStation 5 consoles. The free streaming window runs until September 21, just days after the new season drops on Prime Video.
