OK, So…What Actually Is Canon in 'Karate Kid: Legends'?

The Karate Kid franchise returns to the big screen for the first time in fifteen years with Karate Kid: Legends. The new feature combines the casts of the original trilogy, plus the 2010 reboot. The iconic Ralph Macchio reprises his role as Daniel LaRusso, and Jackie Chan returns as Mr. Han in the new sequel. However, the new movie also comes following the conclusion of the hit spin-off series, Cobra Kai, after six seasons. Cobra Kai acts as both a spin-off and a continuation of the earlier films, featuring both Macchio and William Zabka reprising their respective roles as LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
