A significant original Harry Potter cast member is currently reprising his iconic role from the film series, suggesting that he could make a return in HBO's upcoming Harry Potter show. HBO's Harry Potter remake is currently slated to be released in 2027 and will cover each novel over the course of an entire season. The expanded format on television should allow the series to include Harry Potter storylines left out of the original films. Even though Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley have all been cast, there are still plenty of crucial roles, including Draco Malfoy, that need to be filled.
