Whenever there are debates about whether the rom-com is back, recent shows like Nobody Wants This are proof that the genre is thriving on streaming. Loosely based on Erin Foster's life, the Netflix series stars Kristen Bell as a relationship podcaster who falls in love with a rabbi, Noah (Adam Brody). On paper, this premise doesn't stand out, but thanks to Bell and Brody's chemistry and an emphasis on healthy communication,Nobody Wants This became a breakout hit. It's also one of the few Netflix shows that has maintained a consistent release schedule, with a new season releasing every year since its debut two years ago.
