Long before “The Pretender” and even before “Everlong”, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was the hard-hitting drummer behind Nirvana. He first rose to MTV fame in his early twenties, playing alongside Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and future Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear – until Cobain’s tragic death in 1994 changed everything.
