Not long after finally confirming he'd be one of the stars at the center of HBO's True Detective Season 5 at New York Comic Con, Nicolas Cage has been given a legendary partner. Antonio Banderas will share the screen with the recent Spider-Noir actor, playing the role of Rai Garcia opposite Cage's Henry Logan. Details about the upcoming run are scarce, but the show will be heading to Jamaica Bay, New York. Issa López, who helmed the previous entry, Night Country, will be back to spearhead the new season, which kicks off production in 2027.
