Marking the return of a summer of film with a bang is everyone's favorite cinematic enigma, Nicolas Cage, who is teaming up with Lionsgate to bring a sun-scorched psychological thriller in The Surfer. Scheduled for theatrical release on Friday, May 2, 2025, the movie boasts a talented ensemble that includes the likes of Nicholas Cassim, Miranda Tapsell, Alexander Bertrand, Justin Rosniak, Rahel Romahn, Finn Little, and Charlotte Maggi, joining Cage and Charmed's Julian McMahon in a project directed by Vivarium's Lorcan Finnegan and written by Prime Target's Thomas Martin.
