You’d be hard-pressed to find a single show that’s risen through the ranks to streaming glory in the last few years as successfully as The Pitt. Back in 2024, when it was announced that HBO was releasing a medical drama the next year, there was some serious skepticism surrounding the project, if for no other reason than the platform had never done a medical drama before. However, it didn’t take fans long after the first episode of The Pitt hit streaming back in 2025 to fall in love with the show, largely thanks to the commanding performance of leading star Noah Wyle. Wyle, who spent years recurring on another beloved medical drama, ER, has won two Emmys for his performance as Dr. Robby in the first two seasons of The Pitt, and it would be shocking if he didn’t win another before the show went off the air.
