Netflix’s latest action-chart winner is a 2024 Peacock release getting a much wider second life after moving onto Netflix. The appeal is easy to see: it’s a remake of a late-80s film with gunplay, betrayal, a hunted assassin, a moral turn, and a recognizable director (John Woo) returning to one of the stories that helped define his career.
