Netflix's New 'Carrie' Replacement Officially arrives in 1 Month

As Carrie continues to dominate the charts, Netflix is gearing up to premiere its own unholy coming-of-age series. Inspired by Stephen King's debut horror novel, Carrie premiered on Prime Video last week as the book's fourth screen adaptation and its first full-length series. Unlike earlier adaptations, Mike Flanagan sets Carrie White's story against the backdrop of a viral cyberbullying scandal that triggers her telekinetic abilities. The supernatural hit quickly surged to #1 globally upon release, earning critics' praise for its modern reimagining of the beloved classic.
