We all have those favorite shows we became quick fans of, only for the plug to be pulled just as it was getting going. Freaks and Geeks only made it one season on NBC, as did Fox's Firefly. In the last decade, fans are wary of falling in love with any series on Netflix, where shows like 1899, The OA, Santa Clarita Diet, and so many others ended early before we got resolutions to crucial plotlines. Perhaps the most famous of these great unfinished shows is Mindhunter. Produced and run by directorDavid Fincher, Mindhunter lasted two seasons, only to be canceled right as a compelling storyline was being revealed for Season 3. Seven years after its last episode, its biggest fans still hold out hope for more episodes.
