NAZA — The Real Story

Three Israelis have produced a documentary response to the celebrated defamatory film NAZA. The documentary response is titled NAZA — The Real Story (hereinafter NTRS). Running 49 minutes, NTRS is shorter than the documentary to which it responds, although NTRS mimics its form. I have embedded the dubbed English-language version posted on YouTube below.

The NTRS site can be found here. The film’s creators are identified on the site as Roi Danino (“Entrepreneur · Author · Strategic advisor · IDF reserve lieutenant colonel”), Ariel Averbuch (“Attorney · Public speaker · IDF reserve major”), and Hagay Gutman (“Content creator · Director · Editor · Musician”). Variety has more here.

The Israeli embassy to the United States supports the NTRSNTRS in the X post below. The last sentence reads: “Using combat footage, declassified materials, captured intelligence, and firsthand testimony, the documentary provides important context about how the war was fought and the challenges Israeli forces faced on the battlefield.”

A new Israeli documentary is setting the record straight.

NAZA: The Real Story offers a firsthand account from senior IDF commanders and intelligence officers who were directly involved in the fight against Hamas in Gaza.

Using combat footage, declassified materials, captured intelligence, and firsthand testimony, the documentary provides important context about how the war was fought and the challenges Israeli forces faced on the battlefield.
