The latest mistake in Nathan Fielder‘s You Can See Everything trailer has now been fixed. However, despite the resolution, fans are doubtful and are coming up with several conspiracy theories.

You Can See Everything trailer dropped yesterday, and immediately, fans noted a typo in the quotes. One particular quote in the trailer read, “If you think you you know everything, think again.” Following a widespread discussion about the same, A24 has now fixed the typo, and the sentence only has one ‘you’.

However, fans are not ready to believe that it was a mistake. Many have speculated on Reddit that the typo might have been a deliberate act from Fielder, and that it could be a hidden hint about the documentary. A user on Reddit speculated about a possible chance of a typo helping the project win an Academy Award. The comment read, “Season 3 of The Rehearsal: I conducted a study to see if a typo in a documentary movie trailer would increase the movie’s chances of winning a best picture Oscar.”

Another user echoed a similar sentiment as they wrote, “It clearly works with the text as well. It’s essentially one of those «if you think you can read, read again» things that were everywhere in 2014 lol.”

This user chimed in, convinced that the typo was an intentional act. They commented, “It’s intentional. It isn’t even the same quote without the extra word, so they’ve already edited it. This is Nathan Fielder. It has meaning.”

What do we see in the You Can See Everything trailer?

The trailer for You Can See Everything opens with an interrogation episode when Nathan Fielder directly asks Elizabeth Holmes, “You really feel you did nothing wrong?” To which Holmes subtly replies, “I did not.” When she is then asked how matters took such a wrong turn, she claims that she doesn’t understand how she ended up where she is.

The plot of the documentary revolves around the story of disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and her partner Billy Evans. You Can See Everything reveals the last 34 days before her prison sentence.

The 2-minute 28-second trailer then introduces Holmes’ partner, Billy Evans. The couple invited Fielder to stay with them 24/7. Holmes says that she wants her story to be captured before she is gone. Fielder then interrogates Billy, who admits that he fell in love with her in their very first conversation and defends his wife. The trailer of the documentary ends with Holmes admitting to Fielder, “It took me a really long time to be okay with letting someone see me cry,” as a single tear flows down her cheek.

The documentary will be theatrically released on October 16.
