Mr. Sandman Eats Eyeballs in Eye for an Eye Trailer

Vertical has shared the official Eye for an Eye trailer for the upcoming supernatural horror thriller. The movie is scheduled to make its debut on June 20 in select theaters, and on digital platforms.

Who is in the Eye for an Eye trailer?

The video introduces Hocus Pocus 2 star Whitney Peak as teenager who suddenly gets cursed by Mr. Sandman, after doing nothing to stop other teens from violently bullying a boy to the point of losing his arms. The trailer also features S. Epatha Merkerson (Chicago Med), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), Finn Bennett (True Detective: Night Country), and Laken Giles (Legacies).

Eye for an Eye is directed by Colin Tilley from a screenplay written by Elisa Victoria and Michael Tully, based on Victoria’s graphic novel titled, Mr. Sandman. This marks Tilley’s feature-length directorial debut. The movie is executive produced by David Darby, Lauren Shelton, Victoria, Susan Kirr, and Bill Tagliaferri, with Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Rachael Fung and Nate Kamiya serving as producer.

“Anna (Peak), grieving the sudden death of her parents, relocates from New York to a small Florida town to live with the grandmother she’s never met,” reads the official synopsis. “Isolated and in unfamiliar surroundings, she falls in with a couple of local teens, but when she becomes a bystander to an unforgivable act of violence, she finds herself ensnared by Mr. Sandman – the twisted soul of a tormented child who haunts bullies’ dreams before feasting on their eyeballs when they finally wake.”
