With the passing of Pope Francis, the audiences are looking for films about popes and the Catholic Church to find some refuge. While last year’s Academy Award-nominated movie Conclave starring Ralph Fiennes is among the top choice for fans as the film recently debuted on streaming, there’s another film that is too close to reality that now has fans’ attention. Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pyrce gave a top-notch performance in The Two Popes, which is garnering eyeballs on Netflix.
