Kicking off summer in style, Season 6: Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam will make its way to Monster Hunter Now June 19.
Catch up on the Monster Hunter Now Season 6 highlights below:
The Debut of Riftborne Monsters
Powered up by the influence of abnormal rifts, select monsters will appear as riftborne monsters.
Note that these monsters will appear at 8★ and above, and they will prove to be a good deal stronger than usual.
During launch, Riftborne monsters will include Rathian, Tobi-Kadachi, Barroth and others, with more being introduced at a later date.
New Feature: Style Customization
Style customization in Monster Hunter Now will let players upgrade one’s weapons even further, allowing one to boost the stats of grade 8 or higher weapons.
In addition, changing the style of one’s weapon will allow Hunters to alter the actions of each weapon type.
Each weapon will have two new styles to choose from, and – depending on the style selected – long-press actions and combos will change. This, in turn, provides different ways to use each weapon.
Additional Monsters
Monster Hunter Now players can get ready to face Nargacuga, as well as Beotodus, Bishaten and Great Wroggi.
Additional Weapon Type
The hunting horn in Monster Hunter Now will boost both one’s self and one’s allies while hunting.
While attacking, players will accumulate notes, and by aligning the notes in a specific order, one can then trigger various melody effects.
These melody effects can include increased attack and defense stats, Special Gauge acceleration, and more. Each weapon has its own unique melody effects that can be activated.
