A ONE-of-a-kind Mercedes G-Wagon once used by Dubai royalty is going under the hammer for a jaw-dropping £135,000.

The luxury 4×4, based in Dubai, was driven by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, for hunting trips across the desert.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 500 turns heads with its fresh terracotta paint job and extravagant chestnut suede interior, complete with glossy walnut trim.

Packed with top-of-the-range features, it boasts heated seats, an electric sunroof, side steps, blind spot assistance, parking sensors and a reversing camera.

Under the bonnet, the beast houses a powerful 5.5-litre V8 engine, capable of hitting speeds up to 135mph, according to Luxury Auto News.

It’s barely been driven too, clocking just 1,800 miles.

To protect the luxury finish from desert dust, the carpet was even fitted with a special leather overmat.

Originally delivered in Palladium Silver Metallic, the G-Wagon was later resprayed in a stunning terracotta shade to stand out even more.

The rare motor is being sold through Shift Online’s Europe and Middle East auction, with bidding opening tomorrow and closing next Monday.

A spokesperson for RM Sotheby’s, which is handling the sale, said: “With its stunning body colour and lavishly specified Chestnut leather interior, this G-Wagen presents an exciting opportunity to acquire a unique version of an iconic Mercedes-Benz model.”
