Mau P has launched Baddest Behaviour Records, bringing his globally successful party brand into the record label realm to spotlight emerging talent.

Few artists have made as much of an impact as Mau P in recent years, but his success didn’t happen overnight. Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Dutch producer spent years making big room EDM under his previous alias, Maurice West, before reinventing himself in 2022. His hit single “Drugs From Amsterdam” helped launch one of house music’s most exciting careers, establishing Mau P’s talent for blending underground tech house with mainstream appeal and making him a highly respected star. Now, he’s taking another major step with the launch of Baddest Behaviour Records.

The imprint takes its name from his wildly successful Baddest Behaviour party series, which has grown into a global event brand with sold-out shows across New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and beyond. After delivering club favorites like “Gimme That Bounce,” “Beats For The Underground,” and “Metro,” and releasing on Black Book Records, Experts Only, and Diynamic, Mau P is now building a platform to support artists and up-and-comers whose music he believes in.

“This is for all the artists that have been sending me music, and I’m finally able to give them a platform, just like how other DJs and artists were supportive of me in the beginning,” Mau P shared. “I’m not trying to follow what’s popping right now. I’m just trying to take it back to the core; this is for the culture.”

The label will focus on forward-thinking club music, giving emerging producers with distinctive sounds an opportunity to reach bigger audiences. For an artist whose sets are often packed with unreleased IDs and unexpected selections, it’s especially exciting to see which tracks and artists he chooses to champion.

The announcement comes amid another impressive run for Mau P. Following two consecutive summer residencies at Pacha Ibiza, he was just announced as a stage host for Ultra Music Festival, bringing his party to the iconic RESISTANCE Megastructure. It’s a full-circle moment, since he debuted on that same stage in 2025 during Solomun’s takeover.

The first release to land on Baddest Behaviour Records is AGTSWSB, a four-track compilation that features tunes from Edd, Shokë, CVMPANILE, and Sergio Saffe. Out now on all platforms, its tunes range from tech house to indie tech, giving fans a taste of what’s to come from the label.
