Marieta Severo and Alice Wegmann Star in New Netflix Series The Gift of Deceit

Netflix has confirmed its upcoming Brazilian original series, The Gift of Deceit (originally titled Dom de Iludir).

The series stars Marieta Severo and Alice Wegmann as mother and daughter Lúcia and Maíra Rossetti.

The series centers on a complex spiritual scam orchestrated against the Rossetti family.

Nanda Costa plays Irina, a spiritual therapist who scams the family. Details regarding the cast were shared in a Netflix series announcement.

The title song is a new version of Caetano Veloso’s “Dom de Iludir” performed by Liniker.
