You know, if you had told Eagles‘ fans a few years ago that Saquon Barkley would be donning midnight green and leading the league in rushing, they might’ve laughed it off. But here we are in 2025, and after racking up 2,000 rushing yards and leading the Eagles to their second Super Bowl, Philly didn’t hesitate to reward him. They secured his talents with a two-year, $41.2 million extension, ensuring that the backfield remains a threat for seasons to come.

But if you’re thinking that the Birds are just done with Barkley’s contract extension, think again. Because it’s like Howie Roseman’s playing Monopoly this offseason—but with real millions. Linebacker Zack Baun, who had a breakout season with 151 tackles and earned First-Team All-Pro honors, secured a three-year, $51 million deal.

Then there’s Lane Johnson, the stalwart right tackle who’s been anchoring the offensive line since 2013. At 35, the guy inked a one-year extension through 2027, adding $8 million over the next two years and $30 million in guarantees. And now? Well, to make it more interesting, the Birds just offered a contract extension to Pro-Bowl center Cam Jurgens. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on his official ‘X’ handle.

“Pro-Bowl center Cam Jurgens and the Eagles reached agreement today on a four-year, $68 million extension that includes $39.4 million guaranteed that contractually ties him to Philadelphia through the 2029 season,” he wrote.
