Comedy Central pulled the South Park episode “Got a Nut” from reruns after Charlie Kirk, who was parodied in the show, was fatally shot on September 10, 2025.

The episode depicted Eric Cartman imitating Kirk’s debate style in a parody “Charlie Kirk Award for Young Masterdebaters.”

The removal has sparked wider debate about satire, free speech, and whether shows should pull content after real-world tragedies.
