Lagrange Labs Opens Airdrop Registrations for New Utility Token

The registration period will run from May 28 to June 2, 2025, allowing eligible users to claim a portion of the initial distribution. The LA token has been designed as a core utility asset within the Lagrange ecosystem, serving multiple roles within its decentralized infrastructure.

LA will be used for the payment of ZK proof fees, which are central to enabling secure and privacy-preserving verification processes. It will also be employed in collateral transactions across the Lagrange network and play a vital role in staking and delegation, where users can earn rewards by supporting network security. A total of 10% of the token’s supply has been allocated to this airdrop, demonstrating the project’s intention to incentivize early adopters and contributors.

To participate in the airdrop, users must have previously engaged with Lagrange Labs through the on-chain game “Turing Roulette.” They must also have completed identity and uniqueness verification, ensuring that token distribution is secure, sybil-resistant, and aligned with the project’s decentralization goals.

Looking ahead, the LA token will follow a fixed inflation schedule of 4% per year. This inflation will be directed to proof producers, also known as provers, who will earn rewards based on the amount of LA they have staked or that has been delegated to them. This mechanism is designed to promote long-term participation and enhance the security and reliability of the network.
