There will be a new champion in TGL.
Los Angeles Golf Club defeated Atlanta Drive GC 6-4 in the first semifinal on Tuesday to book a spot in next week’s championship match.
LA will face Jupiter Links, who defeated Boston Common 9-5 in the second semifinal.
Atlanta was the defending champion and they were in good position to return to the final. But LA broke a 4-4 tie on hole 13 and didn’t look back, sealing the victory on a birdie by Tommy Fleetwood on hole 15.
Jupiter led only 4-3 after triples but pulled away with a dominant performance in singles, including winning twice with the hammer on holes 11 and 13.
