Movie critic, trade analyst, and actor Kamal R Khan, aka KRK, took to his social media to upload a humorous post, targeting Animal's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga amid the controversy surrounding his upcoming film Spirit.

Talking about the controversy, Deepika Padukone has been making headlines after reports of her removal from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film starring Prabhas aired the social media. Reportedly, Tripti Dimri, who played the role of Zoya Riaz in Reddy's earlier released film Animal, has replaced Deepika to star in the lead role in the cop-based action thriller.

As controversy surrounds Prabhas' starrer, where Reddy accused Kalki 2898 AD's actor of using manipulative PR tactics, several Bollywood stars rallied their support behind the female actor. Upcoming film Maa leads actress Kajol and producer Ajay Devgn took a subtle dig at the director, showing their support for a more balanced working environment for actors, especially for mothers. During the trailer release of her horror film, actors were asked if the eight-hour shift is being well received by Hindi filmmakers, to which her husband Ajay replied, "It's not that it's not going down well with people. The majority of honest filmmakers won't have any issues with it,"

Numerous other stars praised Deepika as she posted a video of her campaigning for French luxury jewellery brand Cartier, in which she vouched for mental peace, saying, "I thrive when I am able to find my equilibrium and balance. When I feel my most authentic self". Actors like Mrunal and Rohit Sharaf liked the video where Orry commented, "When the diamond itself is wearing Cartier ."

Adding on to the list of Deepika's supporters, KRK in a recent tweet directly attacked the director. His comment reads, "This is the official reply of @deepikapadukoneto Director @imvangasandeep!I will say to Sandeep Ki Paise Dene Ki Aukaat Nahi Hai Toh Deepika Ke Saath Film Karne Ke Sapne Kyon Dekhta Hai?"

For the unversed, the Spirit conflict started when Deepika Padukone demanded Rs 20 crore as remuneration and an eight-hour workday. The director of the film was unable to fulfill both her demands. Later, news of Tripti Dimri replacing Deepika in the film surfaced the social media and was also confirmed by several Telugu media houses. Reportedly, Tripti charged Rs 4 crore for the film.
