Katy Perry’s concert has been disrupted by a fan who managed to jump up on stage and run up to her.

Since kicking off her Lifetimes world tour last month, Katy has faced a string of viral moments, including for her ‘cringe’ dancing, confronting a fan and nearly plunging into a crowd.

Now she’s again faced a somewhat unsettling moment after one person at her most recent concert took things a little too far and stormed the stage.

Katy, 40, is currently performing in Australia, where she’s already played two shows in Sydney and one in Melbourne.

But on Monday night footage started circulating online showing a man getting up on stage at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

A clip shared by Pop Crave shows Katy singing her 2008 hit Hot N Cold while standing on one of the circular catwalks in front of the stage that allowed her to get up close with fans.#

However, while mid-song and holding a guitar, all a sudden one appears on stage, runs up to her and grabs her shoulder before excitedly jumping up and down.

Visibly uncomfortable by the encounter, Katy spun away from the man, saying: ‘Well, there’s never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it, Sydney.’

Security were then seen trying to drag the man off stage.

Soon after Katy exclaimed to the audience: ‘What the hell is going on?’

Just a few days ago she also faced a near-miss after being suspended by a crane while singing.

During her set Katy soared over the mosh pit but after the crane tilted unexpectedly, she was briefly left upside down.

Realising her risk of plunging headfirst into the sea of people, she was heard exclaiming, ‘Oh dear!’

However she continued with the song and waved to the arena to assure everyone she was fine.

Last month she also narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction at a Las Vegas show when her bra snapped.

‘Oh, my bra’s gonna come off,’ she joked, dancing along while calling to her crew for help.

‘Get my bra back on, Patrick,’ she said before turning to the audience and joking: ‘Sorry, guys, you didn’t pay that much.’

After massive demand for her shows Down Under, Katy added extra ones, and will now perform a total of 15 in Australia, where she’ll be until the end of the month.

Katy is set to bring her Lifetimes Tour to the UK later this year, playing concerts in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London in October.
