Katie Price is no stranger to the surgeon’s knife, but the TV personality doesn’t seem entirely pleased with her latest operation.
The 48-year-old former glamour model joked on Instagram that she’d just been to Brussels, where she’d received facial filler that left her looking like a hamster.
According to Katie, she took the trip to fix one of her boob implants when she decided that if she was in for a penny, she was in for a pound.
‘I went to Brussels because one of my boobs was still slightly bigger than the other,’ she said.
‘So, they put a new implant in, and while they were there, I said, “Oh, go on, just put a bit more in both of them”.
‘At the same time, where my face was hollow here, as you get older and lose weight, he put filler in for me, obviously while I’m asleep, and he does it under the muscle, right into the bone.’
Unfortunately, when she woke up on Tuesday morning, some of the swelling had gone; she thought it made her look ‘like a hamster and it’s sore’.
Earlier this month, Katie left her husband Lee Andrews. Apparently she told Lee over WhatsApp, telling him: ‘I have been played and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?’
According to The Sun, she then told him that the marriage is done and that she won’t be seeing him again.
‘It was, of course, an accumulation of many things, but the final straw came after Lee had told Katie he had $50million (£37million) in a crypto wallet, and promised her some of the funds,’ an insider told the paper.
‘He gave her the “recovery phrase” — the passkey — to get into his account, and on Monday she had a financial expert access the wallet — and, to her shock, discovered it contained just $3, or £2.22.’
Katie had previously hinted at the news on Instagram when she shared a post showing her walking down a corridor to a toilet in a nightclub, captioned: ‘Walking to my new adventures.’
And Katie’s living up to that. On Wednesday, she attended the National Television Awards with her daughter Princess (I hope the swelling went down, Katie).
