Katie Price and Lee Andrews are continuing to defy critics by flaunting their new marriage in Dubai.
The former glamour model reunited with the so-called businessman this week despite government travel warnings due to an attack near the major UAE airport.
Still, Katie insisted on getting to her man, who proposed to her after just two days and with whom she tied the knot less than a week after meeting.
New pictures show Katie, 47, and Lee, who has lived in Dubai for over 20 years, packing on the smooches during a boozy lunch.
Dressed in casual attire, the pair, who have been documenting their joint gym sessions on social media, seemed fresh from a workout, Lee wearing shorts and a hoodie and Katie in blue leggings.
Clearly, they only have eyes for each other, smiling at one another lovingly and Lee whispering sweet nothings into his wife’s ear.
Unbothered by onlookers, handsy hubby Lee repeatedly grabbed Katie’s surgically enhanced derrière while she wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
The couple sipped champagne in the sunny, troubled paradise; despite reports that Katie felt anxious about returning to the city amid ongoing tensions with Iran, she couldn’t have appeared more relaxed.
She also flashed her matching tattoos with Lee, as well as her diamond ring, said to be worth £110,000 and also identical to one Lee previously gave to ex-wife Dina Taji.
It’s fair to say the new spouses are going strong, despite this only being the third time they’ve been in the same country since first crossing paths.
Their PDA-filled outing comes after Katie went on national television to set the record straight.
Interrogated by Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain earlier this week, the reality TV icon insisted she has ‘seen everything [she] needs to see’ as question marks remain over Lee’s past and his career.
She denied reports that Lee has a PhD from Cambridge but insisted he does still have one, instead from a university in Spain.
‘There was so much paperwork. His PhD, I looked through everything. The stamps are in wax, some of them. They’re not fake. You know when you’ve got certificates, and it’s got the watermarks, it’s all like that,’ she stated.
‘Everything he’s shown me is so legit. They’re not copies; they’re originals.’
Katie also revealed that they did not sign a prenuptial agreement before getting legally married.
However, despite accusations from exes about Lee being a con artist and him allegedly spending three weeks in prison for fraud, resulting in him being unable to leave the country, Katie is adamant that he’s legit.
‘I want to get to know him. He wants to get to know me,’ she said.
Lee has yet to meet Katie’s children, nor has he met her sister, Sophie, or mum, Amy.
He has spoken to her kids over FaceTime, though, and even has her eldest son Harvey’s name tattooed on his hand.
‘No one will ever understand the way I do things,’ Katie added.
Despite Katie’s defiance, it hasn’t stopped her loved ones from expressing concern, with media reports long claiming they were worried about how quickly she rushed into things.
Lee is her fourth husband and ninth engagement, with one of his former girlfriends, Alana Percival, even telling Katie to ‘run for the hills’, having accepted a marriage proposal from him also 16 weeks earlier.
Confronting her about the chaos of the last few months, Sophie told her on their podcast, The Katie Price Show: ‘You, this year, have been a pain in the f***ing a**e.
‘It’s not funny. Mum has been horrendous – is she talking to you yet?’
‘Course she is,’ Katie replied. ‘I went and saw her in the hospital.’
‘And I gave her a big hug,’ she added. Amy, who is terminally ill, was rehospitalised following an infection.
‘You’ve traumatised us all – again,’ Sophie joked.
As for children Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, they revealed how their mum broke the news of her latest romance in shocking scenes of ITV reality series The Princess Diary.
The siblings, who have a close relationship, recalled how Katie sent a message to their family group chat, rendering them ‘shell-shocked.’
‘The message Mum sent on the group chat about being engaged… I literally responded, “OMG”,’ Princess said, declaring that she ‘doesn’t know anything’ about Lee.
‘Mum’s very impulsive, but that is impulse on a whole other level.’
Musician Junior, who is following in dad Peter Andre’s footsteps, added that his reaction was: ‘I’m so confused. What a bombshell.’
‘The main thing is if this guy can treat mum respectfully; that’s all I care about,’ he then said.
