What a year it’s been for Jon Bernthal so far, who starred opposite Tessa Thompson in one of the biggest Netflix shows of the year, His & Hers. Bernthal then kept his TV momentum going with a surprise near prequel episode of The Bear, “Gary,” and while his Punisher was left out of the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, there hasn’t been a lack of Frank Castle content in 2026. Bernthal returned one week after the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 finale to start in a new Punisher special, One Last Kill, which spent a month straight in the #1 spot on Disney Plus. Bernthal will also star as Frank Castle in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and he’s working with Tom Holland on another project, The Odyssey, from director Christopher Nolan.
