Jigsaw Officially Returns in Saw 11 Teaser After Huge Announcement: ‘The Game Continues’

Jigsaw is back with a chilling new warning. Saw 11’s latest teaser features the killer’s signature creepy doll voice. It also revealed who will direct the movie.

Mike P. Nelson, known for the 2021 reboot of Wrong Turn, will helm the next Saw film. Gregory Weidman & Geoff Tock will be writing the new movie, while franchise creator James Wan will produce. Leigh Whannell, who wrote the original movie, will also be in the producer’s seat, along with Jason Blum.

What do we see in the Saw 11 teaser video?

The Saw 11 teaser shows Jigsaw cycling towards the camera on his toy cycle, in what looks like a concrete-walled room. The famous movie monster looks into the camera, states, ‘The Game Continues’ before cackling off-screen. The camera then pans to a script booklet lying on the floor, which reads, ‘Untitled Saw’ and ‘Directed by Mike P. Nelson.’

Executive producers include Mark Burg, Oren Koules, Stacey Testro, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Alayna Glasthal, and Sarah Paek. No cast details have been announced yet.

Nelson has been tapped for the movie ahead of the release of his latest horror project, Beware Boiúna, which counts Lionsgate among its producers. The film was written by Alan B. McElroy and stars Kiana Madeira, Jessica Rothe, and Logan Marshall-Green, among others. The description of the movie read, “Deep in the Amazon, a medical mission spirals into a fight for survival when Boiúna, a colossal ancient predator, awakens to reclaim her domain. In the jungle where nature holds absolute power, she decides who lives and who dies.”

His track record with horror, and tapping him before Beware Boiúna’s release, shows that the studio has immense confidence in him for the project and could revitalize the franchise.
