Guy Ritchie officially returned to the big screen not long ago with the premiere of In The Grey, which is his first feature film in theaters since 2024 brought The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Ritchie reunited with his long-time collaborator Henry Cavill on the film, but it earned poor reviews on its way to bombing at the box office before arriving on VOD platforms like Prime Video. Ritchie did find success earlier this year with another Prime Video project, Young Sherlock, the prequel series to the legendary detective saga. All episodes of the show were dropped as a binge, but it defied expectations to spend weeks atop streaming charts on its way to scoring a Season 2 renewal. Ritchie has been writing and directing movies for over 25 years now, but only a few classics over the years have stood the test of time.
