A further 19.4% admitted they are rooting for Jason and Britt but suspect the relationship is probably doomed. Together, those two groups represent 73.2% of all respondents. In other words, almost three-quarters of voters are still invested in the couple in some way.

The remaining voters were split between those who prefer the characters with other people and those who felt any previous spark had simply faded. However, that last group made up only a small fraction of the total. The message from the poll is unambiguous: interest in the pairing has not cooled.

Since their emotional reunion, the General Hospital’s narrative focus has shifted elsewhere. Jason’s story has centred on his decision to leave the mob and become a better role model for his son Danny. Britt, meanwhile, has been navigating her role as a physician on probation at the hospital. Still, the poll results suggest those developments have done little to distract the audience. The largest voting bloc still considers the characters perfect for each other, and the combined support for the pairing remains formidable.

After all, Jason and Britt have weathered numerous interruptions and obstacles over the years. Their latest reunion appeared to have them on new ground: they are together, they are in love, and no immediate crisis is forcing them apart.
