Intro for May 5, 2026

Dear Gossips, It was the screaming that gave it away that Beyoncé had arrived at the Met Gala last night – and she made us wait. Not way past the wrap, unlike Rihanna LOL (as usual), but late enough to be near the end . . . which is not usually how it works with co-chairs. But as I noted at The Squawk ahead of our live-chat, it was unimaginable that Beyoncé would get there so early, just to stand around and greet people the way co-chairs are typically expected to.
