Indicted BPD officer made false reports of traffic stops, prosecutors say
A Baltimore police officer is charged with misconduct and making false entries in a public record that prosecutors said burdened other officers and potentially jeopardized their safety. The indictment alleges that a random audit in December 2025 found Officer Dequwan Houchins made numerous false reports of traffic stops in the electronic reporting system known as CAD for at least four months, prosecutors said.
