Imran Maalik (ijaz Rana) makes it to the altar in Hollyoaks next week ahead of his wedding to Leah Barnes (Charlotte Alex Riley) but he brings him with a serious confession that looks set to blow the big day apart.
The groom-to-be is blissfully unaware in scenes on screen that fiancée Leah is cheating on him with Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer).
Imran, however, also has a secret of his own, given that there was someone else he was in love with prior to Leah – and that person appears to be his one true love.
He’s been keeping a lid on such a thing ahead of his nuptials, convinced that Leah is the girl of his dreams and thus in upcoming scenes the couple prepare for their big day.
On the night before the ceremony, Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) surprises Imran with a coasteering adventure for his stag do – and he captures the events on film.
Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence), meanwhile, is doing bride-to-be Leah’s nails – but her mood shifts when her bridesmaid dress arrives.
Leah is concerned and tracks down Prince, who is in a relationship with Vicky, urging him to look after her.
Later, she discovers that Imran has deleted the confession he recorded a number of weeks ago, which leaves her wondering what exactly it is that he confessed to.
In a bid to find out, she confronts Imran, who reveals that there was another woman he wanted to marry before they got together.
The following day, Imran proves a no show at his own wedding, with Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) stepping in to comfort Leah. However, Imran does subsequently arrive, revealing that he got delayed because he was on the phone to sister Yazz.
Ready to get wed, the bride and groom are at the altar. Leah delivers emotional and touching vows, incorporating Imran’s faith into them.
Imran subsequently speaks – and he’s got a big confession to make. The question is: just what does he reveal?
In subsequent scenes, there are confrontations aplenty and secrets lie out in the open – but just what has happened?
