Idol Vtuber Roca Rourin Returns From Hiatus This Week

Roca Rourin, a Vtuber with Brave’s Idol Corp, announced she will return to streaming on June 15, 2025. She’s been on a break for over six months. Her return stream will be on YouTube at 12pm PT/3pm ET. 

Roca’s last stream was on December 8, 2024. She performed a karaoke stream, which ended up being an unarchived one. A few days after on December 10, 2024, Idol and her manager announced she’d been in a “severe accident.” She then spent the next few months recovering. 

We started to hear from Roca Rourin again on social media around March 2025, as the Idol Vtuber returned to X. In addition to some comments and retweets, she shared a three-part message on X Voice once she returned home after surgery. She explained that due to her condition, the medication, pain, and recovery process, she wanted and needed to focus on her health. She also thanked her fans in that statement.

Roca didn’t mention what kind of stream the one on June 11, 2025 will be. She initially teased it with an announcement on social media. There’s no statement in the chat, and the initial notices there only mention she’ll be back again.

We did notice she’s started to become a bit more active prior to this announcement. She is part of the After Midnight Candlery Idol Collection with a “Scent of Teen Spirit” candle. She also announced she’d have a Boba Bar OffKai Gen 4 Butterfly Pea Lemonade Boba drink. 

Idol Vtuber Roca Rourin will return to streaming at 12pm PT/3pm ET on June 15, 2025.
