A WOMAN in twenties has hit back at brutal trolls who have criticised her relationship with a man 27 years her senior.

TikToker Abi, 25 has gone viral on social media for sharing insights into her relationship with teacher Jonny Mitchell.

Abi has insisted that she was not one of Jonny’s students and instead met her now-partner on a night-out with pals in Leeds.

After spilling a drink on Jonny – who has three kids from a previous relationship – the two started speaking, before exchanging numbers.

”We went on a few dates and took it from there,” she recently shared their story on TikTok.

As the two lovebirds lived pretty far from one another, Abi – who already owned a house is Nottingham – decided to move in with her fella.

According to the 25-year-old brunette beauty, people often wonder what the couple have in common ”because there is a huge age gap there”.

Hitting back at the critics, Abi said in the video: ”We have such a laugh, it just feels like a normal relationship.

”I think people think because you’re in an age gap relationship you’re not gonna have anything in common and that we just sit in silence.

”But no, it’s not like that,” said Abi who posts under the username @abs_mxo.

Although the young woman said she didn’t need her parents’ ”approval”, she claimed that they ”like him” and ”get along with him”.

Despite the barrage of nasty comments often landing on her page, Abi – who doesn’t want to have kids – said the trolls’ opinions didn’t bother her.

”I don’t care what other people think […], that’s irrelevant to me. They’re allowed their opinion – that’s okay, that’s fine.

”But their opinion does not affect me, it does not matter.

”I think as long as you’re happy, that’s the main thing.”

And it truly seems that the age gap couple have not let the hate get them down, as they regularly shared adorable content together.

In one video, the loved-up pair can be seen enjoying a date night at Frankie & Benny’s and watching a movie at the cinema, and in another they were whipping up a dinner together.

When out and about, Abi said that haters wrongly assume that Jonny is her ”sugar daddy” who ”pays for everything” – and it couldn’t be further from the truth.

”No, that is not the case. We split things – if her pays for something, I’ll buy something.

”Just because you’re in an age gap relationship doesn’t mean that he pays for every single thing,” said Abi, adding that occasionally the two will ”buy stuff” for one another.

Since being shared online, the video has taken the internet by storm, winning Abi more than a whopping 270k views, over 220 comments and a further 4,000 likes at the time of writing.

Fellow TikTokers flooded to share their thoughts, with many sharing their successes with age gap relationships.

One pal said: ”Coming from someone who personally knows you, you have ALWAYS had your own money and was a successful woman BEFORE you even met him you were paid, happy for you girl.”

Someone else chimed in: ”More woman want a reliable mature man these days.”

A third thought: ”Honestly some people are so judgemental! You’re both adults and make each other happy so why does it matter. Good luck.”

”35 year age gap between myself and my late partner, we was together for 40 years before he passed way never ever looked out of place because he was young at heart,” a viewer commented.

”I’m 23 and my other half is 33, I do get a lot of comments about the gap which is so frustrating because it’s not even that much to me?” a social media user wrote.
