Where the Star Wars movies are concerned, Hamill's last appearance was in 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in which his Force Ghost passed on the legacy of the Skywalker name to Daisy Ridley's Rey. After commenting on his retirement from the franchise, though, Hamill has clarified some things.
