Akshay Kumar's year 2025 has been good so far. Three movies featuring Khiladi Kumar made it to the theatres in the first six months of the year. Starting with Sky Force, Akshay Kumar's action drama released in January. Later, his historical drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jalianwala Bagh released in the theatres. Now, it is his comic caper Housefull 5 that is entertaining the masses. Among all three, it is Housefull 5 that has managed to mint massively at the box office. Akshay Kumar has broken his own record as his movie Housefull 5 has surpassed the numbers of Sky Force.

As per reports, Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 has made around Rs 127.25 crore in the first seven days. The movie performed fantastically well over the first weekend and it continued to demonstrate a good show over the weekdays as well. In first week, it hit the mark of Rs 127.25 crore and managed to beat Sky Force. The lifetime collection of Sky Force is Rs 112.75 crore. After four weeks, the film managed to cross the mark of Rs 100 crore and its lifetime collection went up to Rs 112 crore. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar's movie Kesari 2 did a little under Rs 100 crore over its box office run.

With the successful run of Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar's movie has turned out to be third highest-grossing movie of 2025. Vicky Kaushal's periodic drama Chaava is currently he highest grossing movie of the year 2025. It crossed the mark of Rs 500 crore over its lifetime box office run. As per reports, the film has made around Rs 587.7 crore. The second highest-grossing movie of 2025 is Ajay Devgn's film Raid 2. The movie made around Rs 171 crore at the box office. Other big movies like Salman Khan's Sikandar, Rajkummar Rao's Bhool Chuk Maaf and others failed to make massive money at the box office.

It remains to be seen if Housefull 5 is able to touch the mark of Rs 200 crore. The film has been made on a huge budget that is yet to be recovered from box office business. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and others in key roles.
