House of Guinness was finally released on Netflix yesterday, September 25, 2025. The show is created by the makers of yet another intriguing and acclaimed series, Cillian Murphy's Peaky Blinders. So naturally, people had a lot of expectations for the show. The show is set in Ireland and somewhat draws its inspiration from the real-life Guinness family. It stars Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O'Shea, and James Norton. The show is being acclaimed by critics and fans alike; however, it seems that there were some sections of people who did not enjoy the show as much as they expected to, though the number of those people is not large.
House of Guinness X review
One user took to X (formerly Twitter) and commented, "I watched the first episode of House of Guinness on Netflix... not for me. The cinematography and music were great, but I didn't have a clue what was going on or who the characters were. It didn't hook me at all, and I lost interest very quickly."
