Hong Kong voter turnout remains low amid mourning after deadly blaze

Turnout in Hong Kong's legislative elections on Sunday rose slightly to 31.9 percent, official data showed, a figure that remains much lower than the plus 50% turnout before Beijing made sweeping changes to Hong Kong's electoral system in 2021.
