The wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong isn't over yet, but new gameplay footage gives fans something to hold them over until more information is revealed. The title was originally intended to be a DLC but has evolved into a much larger project, as developer Team Cherry chose to expand it into a full game. The sequel was announced in 2019 with a planned 2023 release, but was delayed, followed by a prolonged silence from the studio.
