Beyond speculation about extra episodes, fans were curious about the show’s future. The good news is that Your Friends & Neighbors will be back. The comedy-drama announced its second season in November 2024, well ahead of the first season’s premiere. Jon Hamm, who plays the lead role of Cooper, expressed excitement about the renewal in an interview with Men’s Health. He stated:

“I pick things by, basically, does it interest me, and would it interest me as an audience member. I’m glad Apple enjoyed it so much that they’ve already picked it up for a second season.”

As for the Season 2 storyline, it’s expected to take Cooper on another rollercoaster journey. Season 1 ended with Cooper confessing his love for Mel but exiting the gala early. He also threatened to expose the Sperlings for cheating on the SAT exam if Chelsea went to Princeton instead of Tori. Although Cooper is expected to join Bailey and Olivia in Switzerland, he reverts to old habits and steals an expensive painting from Bailey’s house, intending to sell it.
