In the middle act of Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty!, which screens this week at the Toronto International Film Festival, a group of intoxicated men bump into woman named Haru (Rinko Kikuchi) while on the street. Another character, Fedir (Alberto Guerra), steps in to defend her, demanding an apology. A fist fight ensues – that quickly turns into a synchronized dance sequence, timed to the hits and misses of the battle.
