Grey’s Anatomy Recovers From Huge Cast Exits as Schitt’s Creek Star & More Join Season 23

Grey’s Anatomy is adding several new faces ahead of its return for Season 23. The ABC medical drama is bringing in multiple familiar television actors for guest roles as Grey Sloan Memorial prepares for another season.

Schitt’s Creek star Sarah Levy, Martin Martinez, and Trevor Tordjman are the three stars joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy Season 23. The new additions will appear as guest stars when the series returns to ABC on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

The hospital’s newest arrivals could spark fresh drama

Levy will play Corrie Witty, a pregnant woman expecting her second child. Corrie arrives at Grey Sloan Memorial dealing with severe anxiety connected to a traumatic experience during her previous childbirth. 

Her storyline will bring her into contact with the hospital’s medical team as she prepares to give birth again. Additionally, Martinez will appear as Charlie, a character whose difficult upbringing has shaped the way he interacts with authority figures. 

His guarded personality will become part of his storyline at Grey Sloan as he deals with the hospital staff. Tordjman will play Thomas, a caring man who visits the hospital to keep an eye on his brother’s girlfriend during her treatment and recovery.

The three actors join Grey’s Anatomy as the series continues to adjust its ensemble following several cast changes. The medical drama remains centered on the doctors and staff at Grey Sloan Memorial while introducing new patients and guest characters throughout the season.

Levy is best known for playing Twyla Sands on Schitt’s Creek, while Martinez has appeared in Never Have I Ever and Station 19. Tordjman has credits including Disney’s Zombies franchise and Bunk’d.

Season 23 will continue the storylines of the returning Grey Sloan doctors while incorporating the new guest characters into the hospital’s medical cases. 

ABC has scheduled the season premiere for October 15, with the network continuing the series as it enters another year of its record-breaking run.
