Gorgeous PlayStation 5 Console Exclusive Gets Release Date, 20% Off on PS Store

Indian game developer Tathvamasi Studios has announced the release date for Suri: The Seventh Note, an upcoming PS5 exclusive platformer. The new game focuses on rhythm-based mechanics and is the second game from the PlayStation India Hero Project. Along with its release date announcement, the developer has also released a new trailer.

In Suri, players will follow Ajira, a fearless young girl on a quest to find a fruit that can save her mother from an illness that claimed her father’s life. As players progress through its levels, they’ll unlock new abilities that help them traverse its rhythm-based platforming challenges.

What makes Suri: The Seventh Note different from other action platformers

According to Tathvamasi, most of the music in the game has been recorded with original analog instruments. The melodies used in each level correspond with the musical culture of the region that inspired it. As a rhythm game, timing is paramount, and the developer has chosen to maintain a 480-millisecond gap between its main beats. The game also utilizes features of the DualSense controller, immersing players with haptic feedback.

“After nearly three years SURI has gone from an idea in our heads to a fully-realised game for the PS5 and PC,” said Glen Martin, CEO of Tathvamasi Studios and Game Director of Suri: The Seventh Note. “It’s our first game and we wouldn’t be here without the gracious support of PlayStation India Hero Project. We had a blast making it, now it’s your turn to feel the rhythm.”

Suri: The Seventh Note will be available in two editions:

Suri: The Seventh Note Standard Edition ($19.99) Suri: The Seventh Note Digital Deluxe Edition ($24.99) – includes base game, exclusive Chandini Skin, DLC, and 3-day early access.

The Chandini skin and the DLC will not be available for separate purchase. Purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition is the only way to get access to the content. Those subscribed to PlayStation Plus can get a 20% discount on both editions. The discounts will be live until the game’s launch. PS5 owners can pre-order the game now.

Suri: The Seventh Note will launch on PC and PS5 on October 30, 2026.
