Following the unceremonious shadow drop of God of War Sons of Sparta during the February 2026 PlayStation State of Play, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility for Santa Monica to launch God of War Laufey in a similarly surprising manner. A shadow drop for God of War Laufey might be absolutely ludicrous and unprecedented, to be fair, but we have more than enough reason to assume that it will be launching in the near future.
